Luxury Coach 1950 to 1958
- Chassis: Daimler CVD6
- Engine: Daimler 8.6-litre CD6 diesel engine
- Gearbox: 4-speed Wilson pre-selector epicyclic transmission with a Daimler Fluid Flywheel
- Bodywork: Irvine of Salsburgh.
- Original Operator: Delivered new in 1950 to Andrew Hunter of Dreghorn (Ayrshire), who operated it as part of the A1 Service.
Converted to Double-Decker Bus 1957/1958
- Conversion by: Massey Brothers of Wigan
- New Body: Highbridgye double-decker H33/28RD
- Seating: 33 seats upper deck, 28 seats lower deck
- Passenger entrance: Rear platform entrance with doors

DCS 616 History
- 1958: Continued operation for Hunter/A1 Services as a double-decker bus, working various routes in Ayrshire.
- 1972: Ceased frontline service with Hunter/A1 Service.
- 1973: Purchased for preservation.
- 1987: Acquired by preservationist R. Wallace of Edinburgh, who structurally altered the bus to an open-top layout.
- July 1987: Placed into operational service with Midland Scottish Omnibuses Limited, who managed and ran the Stirling Heritage Tours.
- 1992: DCS 616 concluded its open-top touring service for Midland Scottish Omnibuses Ltd. The vehicle is currently preserved at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum in Lathalmond, where you can ride on the bus on Open Days.
