About Me

I am retired and live in the west coast of Scotland. I am a Glaswegian, so some of the yellow, white and green buses stored at the Bridgeton Bus Garage in Glasgow may have had my bum parked on a few of them at one time or other during my long life. No, I've never been a bus driver or a bus mechanic, I'm just fascinated by old buses and since I like to take photographs, it gives me the opportunity to visit transport museums and photograph these handsome vintage vehicles. So hop on and have a look inside.

Unless otherwise stated, most photographs have been taken by me and I have sought permission to take these photographs. When a photograph or video is not mine, I attempt to seek permission and display the name and link to the copyright owner. My photographs are free to download, but the ones displayed on Vintage Buses are only 678 pixels wide. You can download the full unedited jpg files, usually 4896 x 3672 pixels (depending on the camera).

Most clipart is sourced from GSP Clipart - royalty free images.
